Kitchen And Bar Remodel

The kitchen is the heart of the home and a place full of love.

The client wanted to mix natural colors and get rid of the all-white palette. They wanted to bring in more natural light and add a nice view to the backyard. Because they love cooking, they wanted high-end appliances and ample prep space.

The client also wanted to create a dedicated space for a wet bar, complete with dedicated refrigeration.

We decided to have a complete structural overhaul of the space to achieve our goals. We eliminated the existing prep area to the left of the refrigerator to provide more counter space as well as room for large appliances. The v-shaped island was removed in favor a larger rectangular island. The range was relocaled to the cabinet wall and a large window was added to increase light in the space and enjoy the view while cooking.

For the bar, we settled on the south-side wall which was previously used as a sitting area. We used the same surface and cabinets as the main kitchen to provide continuity. 2 dedicated beverage refrigerators were added as well as a wine cooler. Ample cabinet room for bottles and accessories were added.

We mixed natural colors for all cabinetry and chose a resistant material for the work surfaces. The larger island is very practical for prep and also provides a great entertaiment space for family a friends. In-ceiling audio was added and a over-sized dining room table provides the perfect gathering space.
